Design Inventory & Audit

When we’re redesigning a digital product or creating a new one for an existing brand, we start our Product Immersion with an understanding of what’s working and what’s not in your existing brand and design system to understand our UX/UI objectives and guardrails.

As an agency specializing in product strategy, we understand the importance of evaluating and improving a product's user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). That's why we offer UX/UI inventory and audit services to our clients. Our team of experts will conduct a comprehensive review of your product's UX and UI elements, from user flows and navigation to graphic design and visual hierarchy. By conducting a UX/UI inventory and audit, we can identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance the overall user experience and contribute to the product's success.

Our UX/UI inventory and audit process begins with a thorough analysis of the product's existing design and user research. We evaluate user flows, screen designs, and overall visual hierarchy to understand how users interact with the product. Additionally, we review any existing user research and conduct user testing to gain further insights into the product's strengths and weaknesses.

Once the analysis is complete, our team will present a report detailing our findings and recommendations. This report will include information on areas of improvement for the product's UX and UI, as well as a roadmap for implementing the recommended changes. Our goal is to provide our clients with a comprehensive understanding of their product's UX and UI and to inform product strategy decisions that will drive product success.

Maximize your website or app's potential with our comprehensive UX/UI inventory audit

Benchmark Analysis: Here we focus on non-visual elements that profoundly affect the user experience. We want to understand the product performance or speed, accessibility compliance, best practices, and SEO. We are also looking for items that could cause brand harm.

Usage Analysis: Let's dig deep into the analytics. Here's where we could see what the page views, drop off, or bounce rate show. We will also identify what the basic demography looks like e.g. sex, region, age.

Usability Analysis: We will be leveraging Jakob Nielsen's 10 general principles for interaction design. It is labeled "heuristics" because they're not specific guidelines.

Understanding User Pain Points: Here's where we focus on the user pain points. The heuristics will give us what's happening but here we're going to drill down and figure out how we could fix use your pain points. Let's come up with solutions to fix those pain points with words, wireframes, or sketches.

Improvement Prioritization: Here's where we connect the dots. We're looking at benchmarking, usage, usability and pain points. We understand the process and problems deeply. We are uniquely positioned to provide thoughtful recommendations while prioritizing from the greatest to least need. Bring it all together in simple to understand presentation.
