Describe your role: I both plan and implement WordPress projects, as well as contribute to the public representation of the company via blogging and public speaking.

Where are you located? Grand Rapids, MI

Where did you study? I have a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education from Cornerstone University.

What do you like best about working at Camber? Everyone is an expert, and works in tandem. We trust each other to get the work done, and the work is excellent. We’re not glued to a schedule; each of us works when we want to, as long as the work gets done.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I built the official International Space Station Windows95 Desktop theme.

Favorite Camber moment: I’m a storyteller. I just love telling people new and interesting things. My team finds it endearing and created a custom emoji for our Slack called “Story Time With Topher.” I love how they embraced a quirk and made me feel welcome.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about helping those with less training and experience level up. I try to lead them in a way that helps them learn on their own, so they eventually don’t need me.

What types of projects did you work on before finding Camber? I curated content for HeroPress, which is a community representation project that gives voice to the under represented in the WordPress community.

What do you like to do for fun? Hang out with my wife and kids!
