Name: Stephanie Roy

Title: Senior Project Manager

Describe your role: As a Senior Project Manager at Camber Creative, I am responsible for sprint planning to facilitate the organization of development efforts for our clients. I organize and plan the development work that is delivered to make sure we consistently build the right thing, in the right way, at the right time. I also organize and manage teams and resources.

Where are you located? I’m one of the original California transplants that moved to Nashville, TN almost 20 years ago!

Where did you study? I have a Bachelor’s degree in digital media communication from Middle Tennessee State University. Go Blue Raiders!

What do you like best about working at Camber? I really like the way that Camber consistently over-delivers for its clients. Striving for high levels of client satisfaction is an important goal to have. Yet the Camber team consistently goes beyond this to truly strive for client happiness and to make sure our clients are so satisfied that they keep coming back for more. I really enjoy being a part of projects where the overall goal is to go the extra mile.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I don’t know how to ride a bike, yet I am a world champion equestrian.

Favorite Camber moment: While new to Camber, my favorite moment so far is getting to work with different members of the team. Everyone from the engineers, UX and A&R team members, and other product and project managers are really great. You can tell that every single person is an expert in their field and brings an important set of skills to each project to make it successful.

What are you passionate about? I love the process. I think a well-defined process that is implemented and bought into by an entire team can make good companies great. Outside of work, I am passionate about spending time with my family and riding horses!

What types of projects did you work on before finding Camber? I have probably been a part of over 100 website and application development efforts. Before joining the Camber team, I most recently worked on a logistics planning and tracking application for plant warehousing. I also worked on the Class Dojo product, which is a mobile eLearning and educational application.
