Describe your role: I am a Software Engineer at Camber Creative. My main area of expertise is front-end development with React/Next.js. To date, I have primarily worked on projects for one of our largest clients, Advent Health, such as a portal to keep track of training records for nurses and a portal for employers to make appointments at clinics.

Where are you located? I live in sunny Orlando, Florida!

Where did you study? I am a fully self-taught software engineer.

What do you like best about working at Camber? I love working with the team at Camber. Every single person I work with is great at what they do and great at who they are. I love that there’s always an opportunity to learn new and fun things.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I do not like strawberries. You could probably count the number of times I’ve eaten them in my life on four fingers or less.

Favorite Camber moment: Definitely meeting everyone that came down to Orlando for our 2021 holiday party :)

What are you passionate about? I love enjoying time with my wife and daughter, learning new things, and improving the skills that I have.

What types of projects did you work on before finding Camber? The first big project I created on my own is a data collection app intended for parents of children with autism. The goal of the app is to provide an easy way for parents to collect data on maladaptive behaviors exhibited by their children. That data can be shared with service providers to help create more focused Applied Behavioral Analysis programs for children. I built the app using React/Firebase and it was an excellent learning experience for me. I hope to one day pull it back out of its dusty old Github repo and show it some more love.
