Name: Spencer Leopold

Title: Senior Engineer II

Describe your role: My main focus at Camber is to serve as the lead engineer on digital projects for our clients. I am a full-stack engineer by training, and I specialize in working with PHP and Javascript frameworks.

Where are you located? Souderton, Pennsylvania

Where did you study? I am a self-taught, Acquia Certified Developer for Drupal 7 and Drupal 9.

What do you like best about working at Camber? I like that the work is always different. Rarely do I work on the same technology twice in a row. This allows me to keep my skills up to date and continue to challenge myself.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I’ve never broken a bone even though I used to jump down stairs and handrails on my skateboard every day for a decade.

Favorite Camber moment: My favorite moment so far was when I launched the Physician’s Portal site. That was my first major project at Camber and it was exciting seeing my work being brought to fruition.

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about problem solving. I love writing code, but for me, solving the problem and architecting solutions for clients is my favorite part of the process. Outside of work, I’m passionate about music. I’ve been playing the guitar for almost 20 years.

What types of projects have you worked on while at Camber so far? I’ve worked on several different projects during my time at Camber so far including working on the physicians portal for Advent Health and several other projects within the Advent Health portfolio such as an app to help them manage secure files. I’m also serving as the lead developer on a WordPress to Laravel migration project to optimize the app’s performance.

What do you like to do for fun? I have an 8-year-old daughter, so I spend a lot of my free time with her. I also play guitar and try to go snowboarding as often as possible.
